The Coburn household was in a terrible state .Sandy the hamster had disappeared . We searched high and low but he was nowhere to be found.The days passed by and we thought that there was no hope for him . But then 5 days later there came a knock at the door ."You don't happen to have lost a hamster " asked the girl at the door ."Yes we do ,and he disappeared 5 days ago." "Well we have him here. He came up to my son whilst he was on his swing in the garden as much as to say ,"can you please take me home .I have had a great adventure, but I am really feeling very tired and hungry ,and in need of some cuddles" Sandy was reunited with his ownwers .He had escaped from the house and had made his way 4 doors down the road in Oswald Avenue in Grangemouth. Sandy was really glad to be home and quickly guzzled into his food ,filling up his pouches until they bulged It is amazing that Sandy survived , with so many cats and dogs about , not to mention cars on the road. We took him to David Finlay the Vet round the corner from us cos he had sore eyes and we just wanted to get him checked Mr Finlay said he was fine and gave us some ointment for his eyes .
